The public is invited to a demonstration of up-to-date technologies in forest biomass energy, Wednesday, June 24 in Arcata, California. The demo is part of the Waste to Wisdom project, a $5.88 million grant from the U.S. Department of Energy. We are moving into the second year of the project and have produced some initial, interesting research outcomes that you can learn more about at the demo.
We have limited spaces for the public demo, so please RSVP at the link below. We will fill the available spots on a first come, first served basis. Attendees will board buses at the Humboldt State University campus general parking lot at 12:15pm and return to the same location by 5:00pm.
When: Wednesday, June 24, 2015 from 12:15pm – 5:00pm
Where: Big Lagoon Centralized Conversion Site (outside of Arcata, California). For insurance and safety requirements, the public is not allowed to drive directly to the conversion site. All attendees must board and ride the provided buses from Humboldt State University.
