Dr. Ganguly is an Assistant Professor at the School of Environmental and Forest Science (SEFS) and Associate Director of the Center for International Trade in Forest Products (CINTRAFOR) at the University of Washington. Dr. Ganguly has extensive international trade research experience in India, China, Vietnam, Japan, Thailand, and the UK. He is also leading the life cycle assessment (LCA) and environmental footprint analysis efforts for the Northwest Advanced Renewables Alliance (NARA) bio-jet fuel project. Dr. Ganguly currently explores the environmental, social, and market dynamics associated with adoption and use of innovative products in Asia and Europe while teaching environmental economics and quantitative ecology courses at the University of Washington.
Within the Waste to Wisdom project, Dr. Ganguly is leading the air quality impact assessment aspect of proposed bio-conversion activities and the assessment and evaluation of their social acceptance.
